Customers would like to be able to turn on automatic check numbering but also have the ability to edit that field if necessary prior to printing. Currently the field is not editable and the only work around is to change the numbering option to manual, create a check, and then switch it back.

Additional note from the customer: Ability to edit the check number even after the check is printed (permission based). Example given was they enter the check number and print the check, but the check stock was put in the printer incorrectly. Those checks are now not able to be used and the number on the checks in Passare are incorrect. This would apply to customers with check numbers pre-printed on their check stock.
