When we set up appointments with our At Need families, we don't always know which staff member will be meeting with them. In Passare, however, when entering an appointment, it's required to add the "Appointment with".
Please make it possible to add an appointment without selecting the staff member or add a "pending" option for the staff member.
No one has ever explained why this is not being considered. This really is a problem. Unless you work in a Funeral Home, you might not understand, but having the appointment date/time dependent on who the FD that will meet with them is a bit dumb. We set appointments days in advance many times, and there's no way to know what FD will meet with them. Therefore, we have no choice, but to leave the appt time blank. My workaround has been to create a "dummy" FD to plug in the spot.
We have the same situation. We would like to schedule without necessarily identifying which director will meet with the family. If it stays required - we can live with a Pending option. Thank you!
