I have asked for the ability to customize our checklists instead Passare is working checklists on improving checklists on another platform and the main one could be improved. It is not important for us to see our beautiful logo on all in-house documents. What IS most important is to see the service scheduled events at the top so we know when we have to get these items accomplished. Instead we are printing the checklists and hand-writing this information on the top in order to prioritize (Name of Deceased, Case #, Scheduled Events, Cemetery). I could create a custom document that would have more useful information at the top if the ability to import the checklist items was allowed. Passare says more people have to request this. Even on a new screen or mobile app there will have to be a way to sort and prioritize based on the information I'm hand-writing. So please VOTE for ideas.
Yes! Passare's most powerful and useful tool is Checklists. With a few adjustments to how Checklists work, its function could be limitless. But you're right, Elizabeth, I've been asking for these improvements for 2+ years, and so far, no meaningful moves have been made. You'd think at least the sales team would be all over it, because more useful Checklists would have Passare selling itself. Maybe if enough of us tell them this should be top priority, they'll listen.
I do want to clarify that it's not the ability to customize checklists we're looking for (we can already do that, obviously), it's the ability to use the information on the checklists in numerous customizable ways.
For sure they need to fix how checklists print or can be mapped onto custom forms. Getting dashboards based on incomplete or complete checklists, and having the noted information under each checklist item more "on the surface" would be a few other places there's lots of room for improvement. And when all that is done, the ability to see and respond to checklists on the mobile app would have us actually using the app.
In the meantime, I have created custom documents that allow us to copy and past the appropriate checklist columns into a useful table after we download the checklist to a CSV--but it's such a pain!!! It takes about 15 minutes and only a few select admin staff can even do it. And even then, it's definitely a workaround...it's not how I'd like it to work.
