hiding pre-need appointment option when a case becomes at-need

Is it possible in the Appointments tab for the pre-need appointment info to "hide" when a case becomes at-need? Not sure why it's not obvious to the person scheduling where they are entering the info, but they don't notice and it throws off any reports based on appointments. OR if room allows, remove the appointment tab from Overview and instead move it to Case Management on instead on the right in Case Management and add it in their appropriate tabs? It would only need appointment date and time added since who the case is assigned to is already an option. Might not be an issue for anyone else using Passare, but seems to be an issue here. Well aware it's comes down to training :)
