We we get notified of an impending death and there is already a preneed on file, we want to be able to convert that preneed case into an imminent-need case.

Future consideration
Agree we have families that would like to work on the obituary before the loved one dies. But if they are a preneed we cannot send them the collaboration center invite. Also, we are unable to convert a pre-need to imminent need to send them a collaboration invite as well.
I think this and the ability to use the collaboration center across preneed and imminent cases or both wanting the same thing. The ability to use the collaboration center!
We have the same issue we would also like to begin to collaborate at the preneed at times and although we could create them as an imminent need but that would not be accurate. Â
