Highlight or Asterisk Fields in the Collaboration Center that are necessary

We would like to be able to clearly point out what fields we need the family to fill out in the Collaboration Center. If we could asterisk or highlight the fields we always need filled out from the family that would make it less overwhelming to the families. We rarely need Mother or Father Birthplace for example. Could we maybe hide fields? We have sent this to several families lately and the consensus is that it is a bit hard to navigate.
