Exclude Deleted Cases Financials from Accounting Exports

Currently when running an accounting export, you can export financials from a case that has been deleted. In the sense of things if a case is deleted you would no longer need those financials therefore it can cause some confusion if the financial information was not removed a certain way.

User Story: Customer had duplicate cases, had signed invoice in one for a few items, realized the case was not the right one, deleted case out. Once the correct case was updated they exported and ended up with the deleted cases invoice (which was no longer necessary). This confused the customer when they noticed the extra amount in their Quickbooks.

It would be nice to have the option of excluding deleted cases financial information from accounting exports. As well make it default and then they would manually choose to include deleted cases if they wanted/needed to for some reason. This would help prevent any extra financials from being imported that could throw some customers off with their quickbooks.

Spoke to Daniell about this.
