Create Setting to Allow Rolodex to Feed Down to Child Orgs

Many larger organizations have a parent/child org hierarchy due to staffing access, etc. and frequently need the option to share Rolodex entries from the parent level. Here are a couple of examples where this causes issues with the way it works today:

  1. Several of our larger organziations frequently need to move cases across organizations. Understandably, certain data is dropped from the case when moved into a new organization, but this causes issues when Vitals info like location of death or hospice organizations are dropped because they're tied to the Rolodex. This is causing major data loss for Buchanan Group, for example, as they have required reports pulling Hospice info from their cases and any that have moved between orgs gets dropped.

  2. Most of our larger organizations ask if the Rolodex is shared or if there is an option to have a shared Rolodex so they do not have to add certain contacts multiple times. Our only solution today is to manually add any entries in each child org or to export and import any new "shared" entries, but importing is not available to the FH users so they have to go through Support.

Having the option to "Save to Parent Organization Rolodex" or something silimar would resolve these isssues if that would maintain the data when cases are moved and improve Rolodex management across mulitple orgs.

Shared Rolodex and improved rolodex management would be very helpful for increased accuracy.

We also run into the issue of users adding similar names for the same thing. For example "IU Hospice" and "IU Health Hospice" a consolidated rolodex managed across multiple organizations would increase and simplify our reporting accuracy.
