We recently had a situation where a family member signed into the collaboration center to edit a new Case. However, they were on a case they had been invited to over two years ago and made alot of changes to it thinking it was for the new Case. This made the Funeral Director put in alot of extra work to restore the old Case. This should not be possible to do. The Director shouldn't have to go in and manually lock every case after the family is done using the collaboration center. When the Case Statuses are closed or archived it should lock the Cases. Case statuses should also automatically go to Archived after a certain amount of time.
For the part of this idea that's asking for information to be locked, have you tried using the Case Status actions that you can configure in Passare? You can configure certain portions of a case to be locked based on Case Status, and this also applies to the family's access in the Planning Center (see image below). Would this work for what you're asking?
I agree with this proposal.
