It would be very helpful if we could customize the questions in the Service Preferences tab of the collaboration center. As it is worded now, the question about ceremony only includes options for viewing or a graveside service where most families classify their ceremony as a funeral service, sharing of memories, etc. The question about final resting place also seems misleading as a family may want to both cremate and bury their loved one or choose to scatter, release an urn to family, etc. Service options that are possible/offered vary so greatly between funeral homes and locations that we should be able to input and edit questions just like in we can in "loved one's story" so that they can reflect how we approach these options in our arrangement conference and different questions we want families to begin to think about.
In our redesign of the Collaboration Center that will roll out later this year, we will be changing these questions to make them more open ended; hopefully this will help address your concerns with this. We also plan to make those customizable at some point. Thanks!
then please give us the option to remove the service preference page. It is/can be misleading, especially about size of the gathering and during this covid crisis. In NYS, we can not even have gathering ,
